Dr. Vasudev Rao has decades of experience in vascular surgeries.  Being a double FRCS and heading the department of vascular surgery in august institutions, teacher and mentor, he brings a wealth of experience to the care of his patients. He is an expert in all open vascular procedures, deep vein thrombosis and diabetic foot.

Experience

• He has served in various capacities other than a practicing consultant – Head of the Department, Secretary Academic Council Organizer of Manifest, yearly cultural activity member of the advisory board and was instrumental in getting the approvals for starting DNB program in the beginning
• Organized many state level and national level conferences and workshops
• He has contributed chapters inthe Progress in Surgery Handbook on Vascular Surgery and was the editor for Handbook on Patient Safety published during patient safety Workshop
• He has presented papers at a number of national and international conferences and won a prize for a paper on Diabetic Foot Infection at Seoul
