United Hospital, Jayanagar was honored to host Dr. James V Harmon Jr, MD, PhD, Surgical Critical Care, University of Minnesota for an engaging academic session in Surgical Critical Care. An outstanding Surgeon with several patents to his name, he was appreciative of our transformational endeavors.

He spoke at length of the advances in laparoscopic surgery as well as how to rapidly convert a patient on anticoagulants to be fit for surgery. The audience responded well to these informative topics. There was an enthusiastic response to the discussion of Tele-Education initiative and Access to live surgery!
